Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great privilege to welcome you all to the Scotch and Soda guild's new home on the web!  Just as Blizzard decided that the time had come for Azeroth to be torn asunder, and subsequently built anew, we at Scotch and Soda decided that it was time to do the same to our own little slice of the internet.

Allow me to give you the grand tour:

The About section provides a clear definition of who we are, what we do, and how people may find information about joining us.  It is also where we will showcase a selection of our favorite screenshots, submitted by members of the guild.

The News section is what you are probably viewing right now.  This is where the latest information can be found about guild events, activities, and important changes you should be aware of, so check it often!

The Forums section is what you all know and love.  With some minor changes.  More on that later.

The Guides section is where you will find detailed information on the latest content, and the way we run it.  It is currently unpopulated, due to the fact that at the time of this posting, Cataclysm has just launched and we're all still trying to figure out where an Innkeeper can be located.

The Gallery section is where screenshots and videos of our journey across the land of Azeroth will be found once it's working.  Find something neat hidden away in a part of the world that takes 3 hours of swimming to get to?  This is where we'll showcase it!

Finally, the Podcast section is where new episodes of the Scotch and Soda guild's very own podcast, Nerfed Again, will be posted.  You can listen to the episodes of the show right there on the page (though we love it when you subscribe to us and rate us on iTunes.)

Now, I mentioned above that I would have more details about the changes to the Forums section.  Here's the deal: the previous Scotch and Soda forums contained 6 years worth of data, containing literally tens of thousands of posts written by thousands of users.  Also, due to having bounced around from home to home over the years, the data wasn't in quite as good of a shape as it could have been.  As a result, a decision was made to start completely fresh with a new forum.  We realize that some of you may need access to information contained in the old forum, so it will be temporarily available in archive form at http://phewl.org for a limited amount of time.  Login will be allowed, but no new posts can be created on the archive.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to create an account on the new forums.  Due to the large number of registered users, migration of those accounts to the new board was not possible.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

ANOTHER NOTE: If you do not receive a verification email, please check your spam folder.

YET ANOTHER NOTE: Access to the guild-only sections has to be added manually by one of the board admins.  We are checking for new accounts several times daily. Give us a couple of hours, and your access should magically improve soon.
